It does exactly what it should

I bought this to rebuild my Fender jazz bass with black hardware. The bridge’s black paint is great quality, it also comes with the screws you need to fix it to the body. It holds the strings firmly, no issue with adjusting height or distance. It does exactly what is should.

I changed the standard bridge on my Squier 40th anniversary P-bass. The screws were too thin for the screwholes in the bass body, so I had to use the original screws. The screwholes on the Gotoh bridge was to narrow for the screws so I had to drill wider holes to make the whole length of the screws fit flush to the baseplate. Not a big job to solve this issue, and acoustically I can already hear a improved sustain. Seems like a worthy upgrade

Bought as a replacement for the bridge on my Yamaha BB300 bass, fits perfectly

Feels good and looks good. Bought it as a replacement for the bridge on my Yamaha BB300 bass, fits perfectly, but the screws were a tad longer than the ones on my bass.
Be aware that you might need to sand down the part on the back of the bridge that gets in contact with the grounding wire.

Qualité au top, très satisfait du swap.

Acheté pour remplacer le pont "vintage" d'une Squier JazzBass CV 60 (celui avec les pontet striés). Je trouvais le pont d'origine vraiment pas top, mais je ne voulais pas non plus mettre le tiers du prix de la basse dans un Hipshot.

Le remplacement se fait en quelques minutes à peine, le placement des 5 trous pour les vis est parfaitement similaire. Petit bémol néanmoins, les vis fournies sont très fines du coup elles "nagent" un peu dans les trous d'origine. Pour plus de sureté j'ai mis des vis un peu plus longues que j'avais.

Le résultat est franchement sympa, le pont est plus facile à régler, moins de bruit parasites (genre les ressorts qui vibrent) et les cordent transmettent bien les vibrations au corps de la basse.

Bref, un investissement qui ne fait pas mal au porte monnaie mais qui améliore sensiblement une basse déjà très chouette. Il ne me reste plus qu'à changer les tuners et ca sera top !
