Dès la prise en main on tient un objet parfaitement fini, le style élégant des coquilles, le sérieux des cercles moulés, le poids conséquent.
J'aurais préféré une autre couleur mais c'est la seule disponible, néanmoins le vernis est sans défauts. Une caisse élégante et racée au visuel.
Le son : un réglage un peu tendu avec la peau d'origine, 4 heures de jeu en répétition et enregistrement(funk, jazz-rock, jazz), le rapport toucher/réponse est excellent, du cross-stick au rim-shot, en passant par les balais, tout est à la hauteur d'un matériel de très haut de gamme.
Le seul point faible, si on veut chercher le point de détail, serait le déclencheur du timbre, un peu raide et imprécis, mais il fait le boulot et ne bouge pas.
En conclusion c'est une vraie Gretsch qui sonne, du matériel pro et fiable.
