Lightweight and sturdy

The case seems pretty sturdy and I was surprised with how light it is but the biggest negative side for me is the central screw. The plastic around the screw is too short for the amount of cymbals you can fit in the case so you have to add another one on top of it, which then brings the problem of tightening the screw with the nut. Also, the center screw is the only thing holding the two parts of the case together so it can feel wobbly on the edges. It's a good case if you are going to carry it from your car to the gig, but I wouldn't suggest it if you need to carry it on foot all the time.

The best cases on the market

If you're a touring drummer or even someone who plays locally a lot then these cases are an essential investment. This is my second Hardcase (I still have the first and that works as good as it did from purchase, but my cymbal collection has since expanded). The cases come with foam dividers as well for extra protection. Buy good, buy once (maybe twice if it's really good like this!)

Assuré de protéger son set de cymbales..

Je complète la protection des fûts de ma batterie par l'acquisition de cette étui Hardcase assurant la protection des cymbales.
Ce flatcase convient parfaitement pour assurer mes répètes. Je range ma ride 20", deux crash, un charley soundedge, une splash de 8" et 6". Les cymbales sont parfaitement empilées. Une tige centrale assure le maintient des cymbales. La protection est assurée par des galettes positionnées entre chaque cymbale. La fermeture de l'étui est assurée par un écrou centrale. Le couvercle est bien positionné sur toute la surface de l'étuis.
Bien que des défauts de finition soient apparents dans le moulage du plastique, je porte un réel intérêt aux produits conçus par la marque Hardcase.
