More than OK
Just a basic dongle. Works great for what it is - I use it to walk around my homestudio and play and practice without annoying cables getting under my feet. For that it is perfect.
I play no more than half an hour a day, so I have to charge it every week or so. Completely fine, if you ask me. USB Y cable you get with the dongle is perfect, you can charge both transmiter and receiver at the same time from a plain USB A port on your computer.
Theres just a little difference in sound between this unit and an instr. cable, but nothing to worry about. It just seems a bit brighter and louder when wireless. Again, fine by me. I like that sound.
I've never went more than 4m away from the receiver, but still - never had a lost connection, NEVER. So, for my home use - amazing.
Construction - plasticky, cheap, but good enough for home use. No coppmplaints.
Would I trust this unit in any pro application? Hell no. Theres this very quiet, but constant squeal in the background - completely passable, but in any pro setting that would be not. Also, I wouldn't trust this unit in any gig/on-the-road circumstances - I'd worry about its constructionbeing too delicate.
But hey - you know what you're buying here, if you were gigging musician, you would buy much better solution, for sure.
So, for home use - it's PERFECT. And price is right.

Very good product for this price
I mainly use it for guitar, and occasionally for windsynth. It lasts through 3–4 hour sessions, which is enough for me. As long as I remember to charge it, it performs reliably. I’ve forgotten once or twice, and those were the only times the battery died.
The build quality is good - perhaps a bit too plastic, but that makes it very light. I really like the hard case and the split charging cable. The 5.8 GHz frequency range is very reliable. I only had one issue on stage while using the windsynth. I’m still not sure whether the stuttering sax sound was caused by a low battery, frequency interference, or something else.
Overall, it’s a very good product for the price.
