Good starting point
To begin with - fretboard radius is 14” not 12” !!! Description mistake …
Considering Thomann’s well known professionalism and resources I would expect much better setup.
Fretwork - 5 frets high and had to be leveled. Some more spot leveling and pressing loose ands. Fret polishing absolutely required, fret ends bit too sharp.
Pots and switch work ok. Tone pots have nice “oily “ turn, Vol pots turn fast not so nice.
Alnico 2 pickups would improve sound. Rosewell makes them too I suppose. Cannot tell about waxing.
The flame top definitely not a triple A. Still nice and clean bookmarked.
I would recommend to improve tuning machines as mine do not work smooth.
Nut 42 mm required bit od filing especially G and D slots angle.
Overall - go for it if you are not afraid of more advanced setup. You can find all tutorials at Thomann’s videos.
Always wanted sweet ES style guitar and there it is, although after a weekend with tools :) previous DIY experience paid off just fine.
