I had some doubts about these strings, but I ordered them along with other items. The strings worked perfectly for calm home playing in Drop C. The strings are securely packaged and properly labeled. After putting them on the guitar, I was able to set the scale length without any major problems. They have a warm tone, audibly matte. Freshly installed on the guitar, they do not sound very metallic. This is an interesting option in the budget segment. With my next order, I will add a set of other HB strings to see what else they have to offer.

Great set of strings!

I play tunned to C standard and just love these strings. Soundwise they may lack some crispiness, but nonetheless they do sound good!
I may not use them for recording sessions, but for concerts they are awesome, and being cheaper means i can change my strings more often which i just love. Always have a set on my in my guitar case or backpack, but never have broken on me which i was afraid of because of the price.

this is the 1st time i have ever used coated guitar strings and they seam to be ok i did think that you might feel the coating on them but you do not feel the coating at all on them and these coated strings are a lot cheaper to buy than the other major brands that make coated guitar strings well worth buying if you want to try out coated guitar for the 1st time like i did

Not my favorite

I typically use Daddario chromes, because I like how they feel and how warm they sound. I got these on a whim, having never tried Harley Benton strings before. Even keeping the price in mind, these were a bit of a letdown and didn't stay on my guitar for very long. Lacking in playability and tone, I wouldn't recommend these for more than practicing at home. Even then, one could probably spend just a few bucks more and get a much better set of strings.
