Great bass if…

The features and the tone are outstanding ding at this price point. So, in theory, this is a great bass if you are willing to trade the great overall value for some added weight, as this bass is heavy indeed. However the one I received had a couple of flawed frets that made every note buzz above the 12th note matter what I tried. Sadly, I’ll have to return it.

Une vraie Jazz Bass !

Amis bassistes, ne vous y trompez pas, il s’agit là d’une vraie jazz Bass, les sons caractéristiques sont la.
Le manche est d’un confort absolu, une fois portée, l’équilibre est bon, le poids raisonnable.
La finition est irréprochable bien que les repères soient en imitation de nacre, mais visuellement ça ne choque pas.
Mon modèle ne souffre d’aucun défaut visible, les frettes sont bien finies, la basse est réglée, un vrai bonheur.
Côté son, cette basse a tout ce que l’on peut demander à une jazz bass et elle ne rougira pas en face de grandes sœurs américaines !
Absolument incroyable pour le prix, je suis sous le charme.
Vous voulez une Jazz bass ? Achetez celle-ci !

Harley Benton - Behringer für Saitenspieler im Positiven

Was Behringer für die Synthgemeinde tut (Qualität zum schmalen Preis für die breite Masse), das tut Thomann mit Harley Benton für Besaitete.

Die Verarbeitung ist auf einem Topniveau - im anfangenden Mittelpreissegment können sich Squier und Fender hier mal Notizen machen. Kein Spalt am Halsansatz, Lackierung perfekt, abgerundete Bünde und eine gute Holzauswahl.

Klanglich machen die PUs durchaus was her und die passive Elektronik lässt sich ebenfalls gut regeln. Pegel sind ebenfalls mehr als ausreichend.
Die Mechanik läuft gut und hält die fein justierte Stimmung super.

Direkt aus dem Karton entnommen und gestimmt muss ich auch sagen, dass die Fabrikeinstellung sehr gut ist. Halsspannung war bereits gut eingestellt und Saitenabstand ebenso. Einzig an der Intonation musste noch gearbeitet werden.

Ein Wermutstropfen ist das hohe Gewicht und eine leichte Kopflastigkeit.
Ein breiter Gurt gleicht dies aber direkt aus.

Für unter 250€ bekommt man hier ein tolles Instrument, sowohl für Anfänger, als auch langjährige Spieler.
