This is just brilliant - being able to carry a stand inside the instrument itself has made travelling around so much easier.

The only criticism I have is that because it's so light weight, sometimes when you pick the saxophone up, the stand can come with it. Recommend just putting a foot on one of the legs when removing the sax.

great for going to the studio every day

fits perfectly into my yamaha YAS-280 alto sax's bell. No gaps, no weird movements, the assembly quality is great. The nubuk is nice as it prevents scratching of the bell. Now i use it always when I'm not at home. Like it because now all my sax exquipment is in the sax case

Très pratique, pas encombrant et stable.

Il me fallait un stand pour poser mon alto tout en étant mobile sans m'encombrer. C'est chose faite : bien conçu, léger, il se déplie facilement et rapidement. Il faut juste bien faire attention à déployer entièrement le support inférieur qui tient la culasse. Je le pose sur une table; l'ensemble est stable. plié, il loge dans le pavillon, dans son sac en velours qui protège de toute rayure. Le tout rentre impeccablement dans l'étui. Je suis très satisfait de l'achat.

Edit : à la longue, le ressort a fini par devenir lâche et ne tient plus correctement le saxophone alto. Ca reste un pied de secours en déplacement.
