Honz Technologies ToneWoodAmp2 Ac. Multieffect

This is without a doubt the best (one of these types of things) I’ve used. Built-in systems are usually rubbish anyway, and you’re really committing to them – massive holes in your guitar and whatnot. I loved the first TWA, but it had plenty of downsides. I stuck a slim power bank to mine and hardwired it into the battery terminals, which fixed the power problem.

I have an arched back on my guitar, and this has really made a difference to that. It’s a great thing to play with, but it comes into its own as an inline FX processor when plugged into a PA (or amp). Hands down, the best acoustic multi-FX I’ve ever used (outside of a computer, anyway).

Also, your old bracket is the same as the new one, so save the one that comes with this for a second guitar. CLASS!

my own conclusion I found that it simply isn't loud enough for its purpose. when turning up the volume feedback was an issue in spite of all the feed back parameters built in. if this product is amplified by a microphone as it is on all the video's then surly that defeats the object somewhat. Some may disagree but for the price and functionality it was not for me. I experemented with it using all the app functions which were cool but found the volume was not adequate so thats why I returned it.

Loved the original, the new one is a big upgrade apart from the built in rechargeable battery, hate, hate, hate it. It's frequently dead when i pick it up so whether i disconnect it all to charge it or arrange my guitar next to a plug to charge it, either way, I'm waiting. With version 1 i just popped in a new set of rechargeable AA's and i was good to go in seconds. That's not even mentioning the built in obsolescence,

Wie in den Videos auf Youtube beschrieben habe ich auf der Rückseite der Gitarre den richtigen Platz gesucht, an dem das Gerät angebracht werden soll. Dies ist wichtig für den späteren Klang. Erstmal mit Klebeband befestigt und getestet. Soweit alles okay. Also Saiten ab und dieses Kreuz mit den vier Magneten in die Gitarre eingeklebt.
Ein wirklich schöner und vor allem interessanter Klang der da entsteht.
Auch mit der App kommt man klar. Wirklich umfangreiche Einstellungen sind dort möglich.
Nach einiger Zeit bemerkte ich jedoch, dass da wohl etwas mit der Software falsch läuft. Das Speichern meiner Einstellungen (save settings) funktioniert mit genau EINER Einstellung. Möchte man eine Zweite speichern, läuft alles kreuz und quer. Plötzlich klingt alles fürchterlich. Auch meine erste Einstellung ist dahin. Ich hab das mehrmals getestet, was sehr zeitaufwändig ist. Immer mit dem selben Ergebnis. Anscheinend ist der Tonewoodamp 2 vor der Fertigstellung auf den Markt gekommen.
Für mich komplett unbrauchbar und vollkommen überteuert.
So habe ich die Gitarrensaiten wieder entfernt und das zuvor eingeklebte Magnetkreuz ausgebaut. Das Gerät geht zurück. Mich hat die ganze Aktion zwei Satz Gitarrensaiten, viel Zeit und vor allem Nerven gekostet.
Schade, schade !
