Small guitar, big rock fun
Hello rock folks! I would like to share my experience after buying this instrument. First of all, as usual from Thomann: fast delivery and very good packaging. The guitar was safe in the box and arrived in perfect condition. After taking it out, it looked solid, clean and nice. For the price, it is a very good small instrument.
But.. it was not perfect. I could feel some rough fret ends and with the short scale and original strings tuning was not very stable. I made a full upgrade: Seymour Duncan SH-2N Jazz pickup in the neck, Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB Trembucker in the bridge, new nut, locking tuners, metal jack socket, polished frets, Ernie Ball Power Slinky 11-48 strings and full neck and bridge setup.
Now it is a great little rock machine. My 8-year-old son learns on it and I also like to play it. We take it with us on trips because it is small, light and fun to play. In general, I recommend this instrument. It is already good for the money but with a little extra work and setup, it can show its full potential.
