Deeply disappointed – sloppy software
I really regret this purchase. Amplitube 5 looks great on paper, but in reality it’s a frustrating mess. Instead of focusing on quality, the developers seem more interested in selling you hundreds of mediocre amp models rather than just a few truly good ones.
What’s even worse is that the developers clearly don’t care about INPUT LEVEL CONSISTENCY between amp models — which is an industry standard. Every time you switch amps, you have to readjust your input gain to avoid clipping or weak signal. It completely ruins the workflow and makes it hard to do any serious work with this software.
Honestly, I have no idea why Amplitube is so popular or so often recommended. There are plenty of other amp modeller softwares or hardwares out there that sound better, feel better and are simply more professional.
Save your money and go with something else.
