The ukulele looks very nice – the graphic design on the body is eye-catching and gives it character, even though there are some small imperfections in the finish. In terms of sound, it sometimes has a metallic tone, possibly due to the strings, and it goes out of tune fairly quickly. That can be a bit frustrating, but at this price point it’s somewhat expected.

A big plus is the Kala app, which makes tuning and learning much easier – a really useful tool for beginners. Overall, the ukulele plays “so-so,” but for the price it offers decent value, especially for those just starting out.
