Bought this for my Rath R900 as I wanted a sturdy protective case. I was a little concerned at first when I had to force the lid closed, but this was just the cushioning material in the lid forming to the contours of my instrument. Lid now closes quite normally, and suspect that this has to be done in order not to allow the instrument to move in the case while in transit. The case itself is well made, and offeres superior protection than the usual cheaper cases sometimes supplied with some instruments. I would recommend this product to anyone wishing to give their bass trombone the maximum protection for their investment.

Fantastic product for the price

My Bass trombone , like many today came with a light weight case and full zipper opening , needless to say after a few years , the case as now failed , the case being unable to stay closed . I looked to Thomann , and found this case , good price compared the market and couldn’t find anything as good . Ordered it and in a few days duly arrived , very well packaged , and wow was I impressed on taking it out the box , it’s strong , sturdy , and a little heavier than I expected with my trombone in it .

But boy am I glad I purchased this case well made and durable , I had a yahama Bbf when I first started , and the case is just like that one ,and over 20 yrs old still going strong apart from the handle drops out now and again .
