Very easy to play

This whistle requires almost no lung capacity to play. It has a nice sound, but it is nothing like the Busker High D l just bought. It responds very well, but being a lot thinner than the Busker the sound is very different. I would recommend to watch the videos that can be found on the Kerrywhistle website. There you will finf reviews and sound samples of all the whistles they make. This will give you an impression about how the whistles sound.

Très bon son, mais un doigté pas "classique" pour le do bécarre

Tin whistle avec une très belle sonorité et facile à prendre en main. Elle ne demande pas beaucoup de souffle dans les aigus comparé au modèle Chieftain (entièrement en aluminium).

Cependant, il est vraiment dommage que le do bécarre de la première octave soit un peu trop haut avec le doigté classique OXXOOO, avec un écart d'environ 1/4 de ton. Il est à peu près juste avec le doigté OXXXXO, mais ça demande un peu d’adaptation quand on est habitué à jouer des morceaux avec l'autre doigté.

Ce dernier doigté m'a été confirmé par le fabriquant lui-même, il est dû à la conception du whistle.

Exzellente Whistle

Man kann es kurz zusammen fassen: Die Cobre Whistles sind excellent, und das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist top für alle, die eine Whistle in guter Qualität suchen. Man braucht eine Weile, bis man sich auch in der ganz hohen Lage zurecht findet, weshalb ich die Instrumente nicht unbedingt für AnfängerInnen empfehle, aber das Ergebnis ist einfach nur umwerfend, was den Sound und die Ausdruckskraft betrifft. Die Flöten haben sich in kurzer Zeit zu meinen Lieblingswhistles entwickelt. Dass die Kupferrohre anlaufen ist übrigens so gewollt, dadurch wird der Klang runder und voller.

Do bécarre faux

Je suis assez déçue par le rapport qualité prix. Le do bécarre est trop aigu (quasiment un 1/2 ton). Même avec le doigté oxxxxo il reste légèrement trop haut.
Honnêtement, payer un whistle aussi cher pour devoir se contorsionner sur les doigtés n'est pas acceptable.
Ma professeure m'a scotché le premier trou pour tenter de corriger ce défaut.
