Great execution of a great idea

This is perfect for those occasions where you've only a few bars of flugel or maybe space is too limited to get the flugel out.

It's well engineered (fits my GR flugel mp and Strad Commercial 1B perfectly), does the job brilliantly and gets a lot closer to a flugel sound than you might think.

Habe den Adapter zum Ausprobieren mit einem Flügelhornmundstück mitbestellt.
Ich nutze ihn mit einem JK USA Flugelhorn 1 US Mundstück (recht groß aber eben amerikanischer Schaft) auf einer Fides Symphony. Der Adapter verändert den Klang spürbar aber nicht extrem, er kommt nicht an ein echtes Flügelhorn ran (sollte man aber logischerweise auch nicht verlangen).
Die Intonation scheint davon auch quasi unberührt also alles gut.

Der Adapter kommt in einer schönen kleinen Holzschachtel zugeschickt und wirkt stabil ohne zu scharfe Kanten.

Wer also eine Möglichkeit sucht, seine Trompete weicher klingen zu lassen ohne gleich ganz aufs Flügelhorn zu wechseln ist hier richtig. Auch wenn man mal notgedrungen den Flügelhornklang benötigt aber keins zur Hand hat, dient er. Er ersetzt es aber keineswegs komplett.

Für den Preis für mich bisher eine Spielerei aber wer weiß, vielleicht wird er ja eines Tages ernsthaft benötigt.

Pouratteindre le but recherché, jouer la trompette avec une embouchure de bugle pour détimbrer le son, il aurais fallu que l'ensemble soit moins long qu'une embouchure de trompette afin de ne pas avoir à ré-accorder la troimpette. D'ailleurs l'excellent fabricant d'embouchures GR a fait pour Wayne Bergeron et Louis Dowdeswell une embouchure de trompette avec une cuvette de bugle mais avec une longueur plus courte afin de palier à ce problème.

Auch geeignet für eine Flügelhornmundstuck mit kleinem Schaft (1) auf ein Flügelhorn mit großem Schaft (3).
Auf der Trompete verändert sich der Sound, aber der Adapter kann kein Flügelhorn ersetzten.
