As a trumpet player I use this to take the edge off the trombones. I used to be blasé about the sound level but now have worsening tinnitus. I use this in rehearsals, and increasingly in concert. Some might think it excessive and it is certainly a pain if you have to carry it any distance together with instruments and the rest, but it certainly helps with the sound levels if you are struggling.

Werk prima als je voor een blazerssectie zit. Het directe geluid wordt ‘ omgeleid’ zodat het voor je zelf aangenamer wordt. Je kunt hem ‘upgraden’, maar dat heb ik niet gedaan.

Schutz der Mitspieler vor lautem ?Blech?

Getestet im Wesentlichen in einer in Bigband
Dieser Schallschutz soll unsere Mitspieler vor den Blechbläsern ?schützen?. Der Effekt ist tatsächlich da. Im ersten Moment ist der Unterschied gar nicht so groß. Es ist immer noch laut, aber schmerzt nicht mehr. Wenn man in die ?Schüssel? reinspielt wird der Ton ziemlich heftig reflektiert. Man hört sich selbst deutlicher. Ähnliche Erfahrungen wie mit dem Schutz für Drumset (Plexiglaskäfig). Immer noch laut aber nicht so viel ?Druck?. Stabilität und Verarbeitung ist super. Warum im ?Handling? nur 4 Sterne liegt einfach in der Natur der Sache. Im Probenraum oder auf der Bühne ist alles super, aber die Plexiglashalbschale könnte beim Transport beschädigt werden. Da ist im Moment keine Idee, wie wir die möglichst schonend transportieren können. Im Moment nutzen wir es ?Nur? bei den Proben, evtl. bleibt es auch dabei.
