KRK Kreate 8

Hi,
I am reviewing these monitors because I made a New Year’s Resolution to review more products that I buy. It’s the first thing I look for after the specifications meet my requirements. Without reviews, I would be lost in making a purchase.
Anyway, here goes with hopefully the first of many reviews!!!
The KRK Kreate 8 are an excellent choice. My kit is all synths and I have blown so many monitors over the years with heavy bass centric patches. These guys are perfect for a heavy synth bass line.
Straight out of the box they are a great looking monitor/speaker. The yellow on the speaker rim just cheers up a room compared to the usual drab all black I have always had.
I am giving 5 stars to these monitors for sound, ease of use, appearance, documentation etc. And, the only complaint I have is that they have highlighted the inadequacy of the mixer/amplifier I use to power them. So that will be my next purchase once the bank allows me to spend again.
4 years ago due to chemotherapy treatment I lost the ability to hear certain frequencies. So I got a wonderful surprise when for the first time in 4 years I have been able to hear the closed high hat on my drum machine. That alone justifies 5 stars for me. Hopefully this review helps my fellow shoppers like all the reviews I have read over the years.

Auf der Suche nach guten Studio Lautsprechern für DJ Sets habe ich den Hörer in die Hand genommen und bei Thomann angerufen. Über Thomann, andere Empfehlungen und oftmaliger Verwendung von DJs bin ich auf KRK gestoßen.
Etwas stutzig war ich über den günstigen Preis.
Beim auspacken und aufstellen der Lautsprecher hatte ich gleich das Gefühl hochwertiger Verarbeitung.
Zum einstimmen der Lautsprecher gibt es sowohl eine App, als auch eine automatische Raumabstimmung.
Nach wenigen Tagen Nutzung kann ich sagen, dass die Lautsprecher sich tatsächlich ein geschwungen haben.

Der Sound klingt wirklich ausgewogen, wirkt zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich oder verzerrt. Da ich diese in unmittelbarer Nähe aufgestellt habe, höre ich auch manchmal bei sehr leiser Lautstärke, wo die Lautsprecher auch wirklich gut klingen.
Aufgrund einer wandnahen Aufstellung habe ich die Bässe relativ weit rausgenommen, worauf sich die Lautsprecher gut eingestellt haben.
Auch die Höhen klingen empfinden sehr klar.
Fazit: aus meiner Sicht, eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Dazu kommt noch der verhältnismäßig günstige Preis für diese solid Lautsprecher.
