The Studio tenor recorder is well suited to playing in an ensemble either as a medium voice, or as the first in a low quartet (tenor to sub-bass). The recorder is gaining more and more in popularity these days, simply because of the pleasant sounds it produces.
This key-less tenor is relatively easy to get to grips with, in particular for the little finger at the bottom
Range: 2 octaves and a minor third
Produces a deep and warm sound

Has been impregnated with paraffin
Inside has been oiled
Outside matt lacquer finish

Good quality for a reasonable price

I think this is a high quality instrument. I can play all kind of music on it.
Pros: Low notes have rich harmonics and the higher ones are easily produced (easy full 2 octaves).
Cons: As the head of the flute is considerably thick, condensation is a problem but you can solve it getting some specialized anticondens liquid. Also the finger stretch is a thing to practice but that´s on all the tenor recorders. If you have really small hands please consider instruments with some key/s.
