I use this to clean the silver rings and keys on a 6-keyed wooden Irish flute. It does a brilliant job cleaning and gives a lovely shine. I have rated the protection 4 star but I've only had it a week or so so can't really comment on long term protection. It's keeping the keys shiny for now anyway.

I rated the product 4 star purely because it is in a large bottle but the bottle is half empty. I can't tell if I was sent a partly used bottle or if it is meant to be like that. If it is meant to be that way then it is causing a large amount of plastic waste that is unnecessary.

Anyhow, it works very well for shining up the silver on my flute!
