I was planning on getting a bluetooth receiver to hook my studio monitors and ended up getting this instead.

To be clear, this is my first time adding a sub to my audio setup, so I don't have much frame to compare. Nonetheless I have to say that this worked wonders. I hooked it to my pair of Adam T7V and they complemented really well. It took me some time to balance the levels between the sub and the monitors, but once I learned to do it, the result really paid off.

As a monitor, this is loud enough to fill my 32 m2 studio, it has a good detail sound image for the price (they feel like an entry-level studio sound. Not as good as the subs I've heard in venues, but definitively way better than the ones in any home theatre system) and the added features makes it really handy: The included remote control fits perfect next to my sound interface, the crossover knob lets you fine-tune the range you want to use the subs for and the bluetooth connectivity is excellent.

Absolut great value for money.

Excelente fabricación, rendimiento y conveniencia ya que al excelente sonido gracias a su construcción y amplificador clase D de 200 W se agregan características únicas: conexión BT y el mando a distancia cableado para control de la salida del sub y la del sistema principal. Debo mencionar que al cable original le agregué un alargue de 7.5 mts para controlarlo desde mas distancia y funcionó sin problemas. Una pegada!Entradas y salidas RCA y balanceadas y estética muy agradable. Qué mas se puede pedir? Muy contento con ésta compra.

It is the first time I use studio monitors with a sub. My previous experience is with logitech z4. So I by no means is able to tell if this one itself has better audio than an ADAM sub or some other alternative. But this one does have a remote that is quite unique and useful to dial in just the right sound you want at each given moment.

I got this sub for:
* Has a wired remote with both volume and sub (base) volume
* Acceptable price
* To go with my CR4.5 monitors

For me adding the sub to the mix is what took the setup from okay-ish to actually getting good. Both for separating the lows out of the CR4.5 speakers, but also for adding the precise volume+base knob that is included in this package.

The sub was quite much larger than I expected, so it may be wise to look on the size spec to get an idea just how large it is.

I advice to lookup some placement guides as I got much bouncy and nice audio when I placed the sub actually in near the wall and not just infront of my old z4 sub.

The knob itself has a better range of adjustment than I expected and allow for precise adjustments. It's build quality does however not fully reach the one of Logitech z4. It is by no means bad, but not as excellent.

Final verdict: If you want a sub and/or a knob to adjust the volume and base independently for tonal control, this is one of few options out there.

A side note: I Also got a FBQ800 V2 for further tonal control.

Fürs Geld? Top. Ergänzt meine winzigen Rokit G3 4" Tops zuhause im Arbeitszimmer schön. Solider Wumms und weiches Fundament. Da brummt was untenrum endlich. Schon schnell matschig, Reserven sind auch nicht wirklich vorhanden für höhere Lautstärken, aber zum Mischen reicht die Power. Consumer haben eh auch keine besseren Subwoofer. Nicht schnell, nicht trocken und zackig, aber iwie passt trotzdem. Geht fast bis unter 40, das hilft mir bei meinen kleinen Tops schon immens. Auch deren Auflösung ist dadurch besser.

Das Zubehör mit Lautstärke Knopf benutz ich nicht, ist aber ganz nett, dass noch Dinge dabeiliegen.
