light and very flexible

I put a Sony mini DV cam on this in a ferociously strong wind (ok I did put it behind my car so it didnt take the full impact of the wind) but still, it did a great job of holding the camera and also has a lot of flexibility in terms of how the legs are configured in relation to the head and centre column. As with other Manfrotto pods, this little unit is great to have as a second or third pod. I wouldnt only rely on it, but for light shoots, its fantastic.

Quality for reasonable price

I was looking for a quality-build compact tripod with a lot of flexibility, featuring a good fluid head and reasonably priced. I found it in this device. It's built sturdily, it can be easily un-folded and deployed. All mechanisms and joints run smooth.

Recommended.

I love this small stand it's everything you need. I don't shoot at very windy locations tho and it's height isn't even that big for me to be afraid of it to crash. Easy assembly and disassembly.

Nach dem Auspacken war ich zuerst überrascht über die gute Verarbeitung und das kompakte Packmaß des Stativs. Auch komplett aufgebaut verspricht es eine entgegen dem Eigengewicht entsprechend doch sehr gute Standfestigkeit. Leider ist aber die Verbindung zwischen Neiger und dem Kugelkopf nicht sehr stabil konstruiert. Dadurch sind Schwenks mit leichten Tele leider nicht so sauber durchführbar, wie es der Neiger mit der Fluid-Technik verspricht. Für statische Aufnahmen und Schwenks im Weitwinkelbereich ist es aber wirklich gut geeignet
Insgesamt ist das Stativ besonders durch das relativ geringe Gewicht, die integrierte Kugelhalbschale und dem mitgelieferten Fluidneiger vielseitig verwendbar.
