Absolutely amazing!

The cut in the mix and the power you can get from this snare is really really impressive! You can feel the rimshots cutting through you as you hit the snare.

I have this snare for over 6 months. Have done:
-> 3 studio recordings
-> 6 live events
-> at least 50 rehersals
Never got a negative comment about this snare from sound engineers or band members. Easy to tune and easy to maintain. I personally prefer 2 ply snare batter heads, but the single ply with a little bit of muffling was the way to go with this one.

Mapex nailed this one, it is DEFINENTLY worth the price. If you are looking for pop, rock, punk or even metal snare drum, this will be perfect choice for you.
