Dead E and B strings in more than one packet

I had tried the 4 string set and was very impressed, sadly this was to be my last great experience with these strings.
I ordered a whole bunch of 4 and 5 string sets and they were horrifically inconsistent and had dead E and B strings in most sets.
Strings were installed correctly with no twisting or damage to the core from clipping the string straight.
Massively disappointing, and I’m sure that Mr. Gouche’s personal sets don’t have this problem.

Sehr guter erster Eindruck - aber Achtung

Die Qualität der Saiten scheint erstmal sehr gut zu sein. Ich habe diesen schlanken Satz Saiten für meinen 5 Saiter gewählt, um von H hoch auf C zu stimmen in der Hoffnung nicht viele Neu-Einstellungen vornehmen zu müssen.
Aber hier kommt der Punkt: Man man den Bass - egal welcher Stimmung neu einstellen, weil die Enden der Saiten an der Brücke schmal zu laufen. Sie werden dünner - wahrscheinlich auf .49 -.52. Die Saiten müssen also an der Brücke hoher gelegt werden, und durch die resultierende, wesentlich niedrigere Saitenspannung muss/ sollte die Halskrümmung ebenfalls angepasst werden. Sonst schnarrt es hinter, als auch vor dem Bund. Das ist zumindest meine Erfahrung nach etwa zwei Wochen.
