As a whole very pleased with this product - I'm using it on the current West End production of 'Dirty Dancing'..... I think the combination of Silver / Brass jingles gives the tambourine both Clarity and warmth with out having to mess around with the EQ too much. The only weakness seems to be regarding the design, specifically the mounting bracket. This has on occasion snapped! Love the sound, this product works great along side other shakers / hand tambourines giving a pleasing tonal contrast.

Dreamy sound

The sound and the sustain are really great. Just be sure to not buy the wrong one. This one is the mountable version and there is another one made to be played when holding with hand. You can remove the mount, but it's kind of slippery if you try to play with the hand.

Für mich einfach gut

Benutze das Tambourine mit einem Pedal an einer Meinl Pedal Halterung.
Hauptsächlich wird es bei Passagen auf dem Ride benutzt, um die getretene Hihat zu ersetzen. Dafür eignet es sich prima, denn sie ist laut und durchsetzungsfähig, also man hört es gut durch ohne das es extra mikrofoniert ist. Dabei ist es aber sehr musikalisch und was mir persönlich sehr gefällt, man hört das Anschlagsgeräusch vom Stick, Beater, etc. nicht stark raus. Es fühlt sich mehr wie klassisch mit der Hand gespielt an.
Ach ja, Verarbeitung und das alles ist Meinl typisch natürlich auch Top.
