Really something

Hit Hats are hard to review. So many preferences and so many characteristics, the variables are endless. So this is a necessarily subjective and personal review.

I like my high hats sizzling and with a high pitched 'tap' when closed. I don't like 'em loud, i lke 'em subtle. Lay back, jazzy, funky, as opposed to aggressive, abrasive, loud and noisy.

If that sounds anywhere near what you like your hi hats to be, i would definitely recommend testing this set.

On top of that, it looks pretty cool, its size and weight are very modest and its price is even more modest. I left my Zildjan Quick Beat for this one on my main kit, which is also my travelling kit.

The Quick Beat is dry and crisp, but much louder than this one and wieghs a ton when travelling.

Does it's job well.

I bought this to add to my quite drum set up, along with mesh heads. I bought my other cymbals from another brand and needed something different.

This ride does almost everything I need for in a practice kit. It's nice and quiet and gives a better responce than padded cymbals. I just wish the bell was little more pronounced. Overall though I'm quite happy.

Ho comprato questo piatto per potermi esercitare a casa nel jazz e nella tecnica del piatto senza dover ricorrere agli orridi piatti in gomma dell'elettronica. Il feeling è identico a quello di un piatto normale, così come tutte le dinamiche sonore. Perfettamente utilizzabile in casa nonostante abbia comunque un volume non bassissimo per via del materiale di costruzione.
