Great Crossover

I have installed this crossover into my 2 way speakers at 2500Hz, they sound amazing couldn't recommend this product enough!

Surprisingly very linear!

I have installed this crossover in a pair of PA speakers (Skytec MAX15) that had none. I have also completely disconnected the piezo tweeter and midrange horn and replaced them with a Dayton Audio DC28F-8 1-1/8" silk dome tweeter. The sound is now completely different, everything has vastly improved! I was at first a bit skeptical because of the "dip" you can see in the frequency response graph of the crossover. But I measured (UMIK-1 and REW) the frequency response after the upgrade and it is pretty much linear, especially in the crossover region, absolutely no "dip" and it sounds fantastic! It really allowed the 15 inch woofer to go all the way down in the lows, with remarkable clarity (I think there may be a 30Hz high pass in the crossover which helps). The switch from piezo to silk dome was also a significant change, overall the upgrade was excellent! In conclusion, this crossover is highly recommended, don't be fooled by the "dip" in the graph, it blends beautifully with the tweeter!

Purchased 2 of these and both failed , were fitted to cabs used for foldback and not driven hard. Not repaired under waranty and the charge for repair more than the cost of the new item. Very dissapointedwith these , have allways been very impressed with the service from Thomann but not with these.
