Pros
Any device with lots of TRS inputs and outputs on its back laid out horizontally, such as drum modules and sample pads, will benefit from using angled connectors like this. Cables are nicely hidden, don't get struck, bent or pulled out as easily as straight ones.
I have paired this connector with the BPX-L large chuck and boot and used it on a 7.6mm diameter cable. It somehow works better with a large cable size than the slimmer straight connector NP3 X-B does.
Cons
The tip and ring pins are quite close to each other and there is a piece of plastic separating them, so one has to be careful not to melt that.
The 2 parts of the shell may slide apart and create a gap as you tighten the boot unless you hold them together tightly. Even if done properly there still is a small gap between the 2 parts of the shell where water or vapor may enter.
