Simply the best hi-hat stand, and I've tried many

Super stable and reliable, my favorite hi-hat stand after trying Tama, DW, Yamaha and Gibraltar. But for me the most important feature is adjustable footboard angle which can be set really low, I need it because my range of foot motion is small and I cannot comfortably operate hi-hat pedals in their default position.

I wanted to buy a really high quality 3 leg hi hat stand. For so many years, Pearl hardware was always the first choice for me due to the high build quality. The 1050 is considered their most expensive 3 leg hihat stand and for sure it is. Not only pearl's top quality but top among other brands too. If you want a solid hihat stand that will last ''forever'', pearl is your choice

Solid, reliable construction and good price

I have bought a Gibraltar hi-hat stand previously and, surprisingly, it was defective but that can happen with any product.

I then decided to buy a Pearl hi-hat stand and I can say that I am totally satisfied with it.

The hi-hats sit on a soft cushion that allow for smooth and stable movement of the hi-hats when they are hit. With other manufacturers' hi-hat stand bases, the material may be plastic or something and it is not as smooth and stable.

I use it by attaching it to one of my two bass drums. I retract the legs and it stands against the bass drum.

The legs can be pulled out again, of course, to be used as a standalone stand if, for example, one is playing with one bass drum or wants to play with two bass drums but with the stand somewhere to the side on its' own (not attached to the bass drum).

There is not much more to say. Pearl are known for quality and the prices are good and reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. One of the best value for money hi-hat stands on the market right now, in my opinion.

H-1050 Excellent hi-hat stand

Solidly built, nicely put together and of seemingly high quality compoenents and finish (only time will tell how the finish stands up to long-term use/abuse).
As an owner of the Peral Eliminator Redline pedal, I like that the H-1050 hi-hat pedal is also in the Redline finish - looks good on the kit.
Very easy to adjust both the spring tension and the footboard height, if necessary.
Being a three-legged stand, stability is excellent and even without spikes engaged I don't get any noticeable creep when used on my drum rug (Meinl).
I had originally purchased the H-2050 two-legged version, but didn't like the inherent instability in these designs when energetically stomping eighth notes, nor did I like the cam driven linkage system. The direct pull linkage of the H-1050 gives a tight closed hat, and plenty of sensitivity for those half-open positions.
Overall, very happy with this purchase.
