PYRAMID Maximum Performance electric guitar pure nickel round wire strings are specially designed for vintage guitars. Using thinner core wires and stronger pure nickel winding wire, these strings get a slightly weaker voltage. The result is a great feeling and perfectly balanced strings with remarkable tone and timbre. The single strings are defined at the ball with a coloured rayon.

Having quite a lot of issues with my sweat, I was struggling to find the right balance between sound and durability.
These Pyramid are the best bang for my bucks. The tone is warm, with a good balance between medium and low. I can use them almost every day for 3-4 weeks without any issue (while GHS, Ernie ball and Dunlop were regularly breaking after 2-3 weeks.... ).
Definitely my "every day" string.

Great string for the right guitar

I love these string, unfortunately I couldnt use them because the silk wrap from the ball end is too long causing the wrap to sit on the bridge which dampens the sound.

When you consider this happened on a rear loading PRS Custom 22 where the string travels through the entire tremolo block, I?d suggest the silk wraps need to be much shorter.
