The Skyntone drumheads are suitable for use on snare drums in concert set ups as well as on normal drum sets
With minimal attack and controlled higher frequencies, the Skyntone has a very warm sound, even in use with steel snares
This makes them ideal for live gigs in concert halls, in which 'normal' metal snares are often too sharp or tinny sounding
On the drum set, the Skyntones at higher tunings offer a warm and controlled sound with an excellent surface for use with brushes

Die wunderbare Alternative

Ich liebe Vintage Drums und spiele auf den Toms und Bassdrum Kalbfelle (Earthtone). Auf der Snare bevorzuge ich wegen der Stimmstabilität jedoch synthetische. Bis anhin war für mich das Remo Fiberskyn die Lösung. Jedoch hatte ich stets grosse Probleme mit der Haltbarkeit. Die Beschichtung der Fiberskyn ist bekannt dafür, dass sie sich gerne von der Trägerfolie löst. Die Skyntones halten nach erstem Eindruck länger, sehen besser aus und klingen nach meiner Meinung erst noch besser. Sehr sensitiv, Im Randbereich wunderbare Obertöne und in der Mitte kontrolliert trocken.

Bis jetzt das beste Fell für meine Roundbadge Snare! Feine Sache!

Les peaux Skyntone sont un bon intermédiaire entre les peaux animales et les peaux plastique.
Il serait intéressant d'avoir des modèles plus épais et éventuellement ne plus avoir le son de la baguette et du plastique car avec des peaux naturelles le son de la baguette disparait pour laisser juste sonner la peau et le fut.
Les peaux Skyntone tiennent l'accord malgré les variations hydrométrique alors qu'avec des peaux naturelles il faut constamment les ré-accordées.
A mon goût , l'esthétique des peaux Skyntone est idéal pour les instruments vintage
