It comes in 2 pieces: a black plastic mounting and a soft, clear, plasti/rubbery-feeling top piece with a hard plastic removable cover to prevent accidental knob adjustments. The two pieces fit together with no convincing "click", and the rubbery feel of the top piece feels a bit clumsy. The soft clear plastic does not perfectly fit the pedal, giving it a sort of baggy, insecure look. The hard plastic cover for the knobs comes off with very little effort. The black mounting should be screwed onto the bottom of the pedalboard, but the provided screws weren't long enough (with and without the baseplate of the effect pedal).
It does the job, but not visually pleasing or functionally reassuring.
Design and look could be optimized.
I wanted to protect my settings on the Walrus 385, which is located just below my Collider Rever/Delay pedal on my pedalboard, and sometimes I'd accidentally move the knobs on the 385 when I was using my Collider.
I finally settled for a great alternative: I put in a pedal raiser, and voilà, no more accidental knob-changing.
