I started buying it when I was young and didn’t have phantom in my interface (you can use 9v battery to power it). Through the years I used this model widely: a lot for vocal, acoustic guitars, choirs, drums overheads, during movies recording and every time it sound great. Now I bought 5th one because one of my mics were destroyed by friend that dropped it while recording a speeding car… Now for vocals and voiceovers I use different types of mics but still I can recommend this one to everyone that starts recording career.

I use them to record many things, vokal, instruments and never was disapointed !!!
