Schecter Omen Elite-7 MS BL Cherry LH

Ive had this guitar about 4 months now. My experience so far has been generally good.
The good:
The overall quality of the guitar for a mid price point has been decent. No noticeable quality control issues upon receiving. The finish looks great, and the guitar feels good too. Better than some more expensive 7strings Ive tried. Its fairly light aswell. Clean tones sound nice

The bad:
The sound of the guitar with distortion is definitely on the muddy side. Note clarity suffers here, but overall, Its not bad. I would still lean towards saying its ok/good.
Normally for a 7 string you want that clarity and tightness though. (Even with EQ) But for bedroom playing its definitely ok.
Intonation. This guitar seems terrible with intonation. Feeling the need to adjust often because it sounds slightly off. The bridge might be the weak link, or maybe the multiscale has an effect here. You might not notice it too much but when recording it might show up.
Theres also a very annoying resonance on the top string thats likely being cause by an uneven fret. No amount of string gauge, action or relief adjustment sorts it.

Ive installed a lundgren bridge pickup and it sounds much better. I've also put on a set of gotoh locking tuners so stability is way better.

Even with the negatives ive mentioned id still recommend this guitar if youre looking for an entry 7 string. Being left handed its extremly limiting on the choices we have. But for under the thousand price point this is great. I got more than I was expecting.
