Simple and Sturdy

Sela quality and simplicity, but I found it hard to discern the difference between one snare head and adding the extra snare head in the pro series cajon. The snare head is sturdy and simple and I can't see ever needing to replace one. I endeavour to use it with another Sela cajon, without the snare on/off mechanism.

Good over all

Very easy to install.
Gives an extra boost in the snare of my Sela CaSela Pro Dark Nut.
However, it steals some of the bass effect when playing in the open. But playing right in front of a wall or with a mic, you are good!
Good buy for all the Sela fans!

I use like a secondary snare wire for my sela varios cajon for extra snare buzz. crispy sound,very good response even for soft touch.. easy to insert in/out. with the small foam wedge you can mute/alter a snare buzz.
