I placed this in our old pearl ELX export series 22' kick drum and it worked flawlessly as I felt the low freq. from the drum were improved but it didn't kill the highs either.
No turning back to pillows. Note dat this has some cut out parts that are removable incase you wanna reduce the density of it so dat you get a nice open kick sound instead of choked one.
