Vitalizer Mk-3T continues the family tradition of saturators and sound enhancers. And it does it well. I mainly use it on the mix bus with a few other processors and I can definitely say that despite the possibility of drastic interference in the sound, it works best in a small doses.

Like most devices that destroy the sound (because the tube does it), Vitalizer produces a hissing sound at the level of minus 24 (or smth) decibels. If the manufacturer was looking for inspiration for the future, I would suggest introducing a filter or gate that would turn off the circuit when the minimum signal level was exceeded.

It is actually as good as they say

So after discovering this unit, reading the reviews and looking into what the Vitalizer is for, I could not help but keep asking myself: "Why is it so praised by everyone? Is it really that good? Does it actually deliver that one final polish to the master track?".
And the answer is "Yes". It really does make a big difference. Balance out the EQ? No problem. Bring a flatly EQ'd track to life? No problem. Soften the kick but make it stand out? No problem. All you need to do is to turn on bypass - you WILL hear the difference. Big difference.
Is the Vitalizer Mk3-T the "magic wand" solution? Maybe. Of course, as already stated in other reviews, one should not expect that it can turn upside down a mix that already sounds like you-know-what.

This one is really a special one!
Punches above its weight and it’s a great addition to any studio looking for a mix bus polishing tool
It has a unique way of making your whole mix come alive and have more clarity, depth and overall vibe.
Headroom isn’t so high as for mastering standards but just make sure you don’t push the level too much going in and it’s all good

Vor mehreren Jahren hatte ich die MK2-T-Version im Studio, aber damals war ich der Meinung, ich könnte den Vitalizer mit einem guten EQ ersetzen. Aber er ging mir irgendwie nicht mehr aus dem Kopf, da der Sound mit einem EQ trotzdem nicht zu erreichen war, und ich hatte viele im Einsatz. Vor einigen Tagen verkaufte ich nun meinen letzten Hardware-EQ, da meine Produktionen mittlerweile auch ohne gut funktionieren. Für den Feinschliff dachte ich mir, dem neuen Vitalizer nochmal eine Chance zu geben. Und ich muss sagen, Leute, ich bin restlos begeistert! Alle Regler an diesem Gerät sind äußerst wertvoll und ich kenne keinen Prozessor, der aus einem Mix nochmal so viel rausholt. Bei mir geht es nach dem Vitalizer direkt in den Manley Elop+, der, ähnlich einer Bandmaschine, dem Musiksignal eine wunderbare Ruhe und Harmonie verleiht. Ein perfektes Paar, und mehr braucht es nicht. Der Vitalizer ist jeden Cent wert – einfach kaufen und genießen!
