Is not great

I bought it for online teaching and unfortunately, it doesn't deliver. The build quality is good but not great. The sound in good, but still won't solve issues in poorly treated rooms, I get better results with a regular -famous- dynamic mic. The 360 options work well. The bad point for us is the poorly routing capabilities from the computer, the lack of loopback is what made this mic useless for me and unfortunately, the technical documentation is quite poorly, I had to talk to a SSL representative to figure out that the mic won't do what I needed.

For singer-songwriter probably, and for online meetings

Tried to record gig and band rehearsal with this, but lack of pregain quickly clipped this unit.

At this price, and from SSL, I had to try. Do not make the same mistake: this mic isn't fit for that.

Singer-songwriters with a guitar or piano might get some sketches down with this and it has some neat features for online meetings.

Overall, this is not a musicians mic. What's it do on Thomann? 🤔 I suspect cos it's made by SSL, they distribute the thingie, but really..?

Essential kit for roving reporter

An amazing product, very simple to operate. Would be even better if headphone & recording levels were not paired. Advise playing around with positioning as all four sides have differing sensitivities. But it's great for those situations which wireless lavaliers alone cannot handle.
