I've just recieved the UC1 unit, and I am shocked how easy is it to control plugin in realtime 4K B has a really musical color, my mix suddenly went alive because I was listening and no so much looking at the screen.. Only downside, in transport mode stop and play button is not working, maybe i will figure it out, I use Reaper as my DAW, buss comp is amazing and VERY responsive so you can feel the track as it compresses , so far I have an amazing experience and I can only thank you guys from Thomann, you are truly the best! build quality is top notch, for this price, don't ask for more , the feel of the knobs is almost like a real console , I already use SSL2 interface and it goes great with it, the simplicity and the sound is pure SSL I love it, thank you guys!

when not using the UC1 for few minutes, s it goes into DIMM mode but it's still working when you touch anything, great feature really impressed by the unit and not dissapointed from SSL , channel strip 2 is very nice and it even has E (4000 series) emulation button that sounds more surgical for some sources if you like that sound, the setup was easy after the software 360 recognized the UC1 , just activate the licence download plugin and you're good to go..
if you are thinking about if you should spend this amount of money or save it and mix in the box, don't ..If you are serious about it buy, you won't regret it for a second.
1 more thing, it has small "legs" that you can screw below UC1 if it's to low for you, they have thought of everything just you to be comfortable,
everything works great, buy it , you will start to appriciate more your ear rather than screen, enjoy folks!
