Not what I expected from Takamine...

When buying this model I expected far better quality as it pricewise is a bit up from guitars that I can honestly now suspect might even be better for half the price. The sound is very nice in this guitar but it should really not have left the factory as it was and yes there was a quality control sticker on it as well. The nut was much too low on the treble side and the frets very uneven especially at the end of the frets. First three frets were ok and even to eachother but after that it turned out to be a roller coaster-ride...

The craftmanship on the other hand was really nicely done but it really doesn´t matter how nice the guitar looks if it you have to go through lots of work to get it to play as it should (a total levelling of the fretboard in this case) which should absolutely not have to be done on a brand new guitar in this price-range and a guitar that´s made of a highly reputed company.

I could have sent this back but lucky as I am (except when buying Takamine-guitars) I have a friend who is more of a collector of acoustic guitars than a player that bought it for almost the price that I payed...
