the box MA120 MKII

I am an amateur, but gigging drummer and I often take this speaker with me as a floor monitor to venues that don't have one. I've had this one from Thomann for a couple of years and despite its low price (it was one of the cheapest models here) I found it to be reliable, dependable, with a decent sound and usually loud enough.

OK, you generally get what you pay for, so I could sometimes use more volume on particularly loud gigs, or some more input/output socket types - life teaches us that whenever our input is XLR the sound guy will hand us a TRS cable and vice versa. But for the price, this unit is really nice and it does it jobs surprisingly well.

PROS: price, dependability, reliability, overall functionality.

CONS: somewhat limited power, lack of combo sockets (XLR/TRS - accepting both types of cables).

On the whole - a good floor monitor for its price.
