I bought this pop filter for my TLM 103. This microphone is very sensitive to plosive sounds and unfortunately the pop filter is not very good at dealing with them. Build quality is good, mounting to the microphone is easy, but not very good at dealing with blasts of air.
Maybe the company should add additional mesh layer to improve it
I use this pop filter for my voice chat microphone on my work/ gaming setup.
The low form factor makes this a great choice for this application. I did a few test recordings of me talking into it and sure enough, it does what a pop killer is supposed to do. I have also used this to record rap vocals with decent success. Would I use it on a very dynamic singer? Probably not, but it might do the job just fine, I haven't had the opportunity to test it in such an environment.
Overall a decent quality while also low form factor pop filter that does what it needs to.
I wanted to replace my existing pop filter which was not very stable with a more compact solution and I went with the t.bone MS60. It fit like a glove in my AKG P120 Mic and it worked perfectly on plosive elimination. I didn't notice any change in sound or muffle when hearing back my tracks.
However for users that have a Neumann TLM 102 with the shock mount beware that it will not fit, the mic has small body and when screwed in the shock mount there is no much area to grab the mic with the elastic bands.
But for mics such as the AKG it fits like a glove.
