Good product but too high

It would have been nearly perfect if only it wasn't slightly higher than the standard 2U height.
For that reason it didn't fit into my rack where only exactly 2U was available. Had to sell it.

The unit itself is well made and built really tough. The wire gauge used inside was more than sufficient, internal connections where made properly (screw terminals on the sockets + ring terminals on the wires if I remember correctly).
There was enough room inside to add few relays or some electronics and it was easy enough to rewire for my needs.

Size issues

The unit is well-built and works well. The main issue is that the faceplate is slightly larger than the 2U standard: it's both too high and too wide by a couple of millimeters making it difficult to fit into a rack built to the standard. The result is that it overlaps units above and/or below it, and can run into issues fitting it between the rack' slides if they are flush against the rails. In my SKB rack I was forced to mount it with washers between the faceplate and the rails in order to lift it clear of the rack's edge and make sure it was in front of the other units in the rack in order to get it to fit. It works but should not have been required since there is a standard size for faceplates.

Cheap, sturdy Product

Used this Power Supply in various live and studio situations. Worked as promised - useful to connect multiple devices to a single grounded source, for example.

Pros: Very well built, good bang for your buck

very usefull for every p.a. rack

Very good contstruction and the best value for money.Must be the first part of your p.a. 19 inch rack! This will give you the solution at problems caused of long and many different kind of power cables.I highly recomend it as the first thing to everyone who is starting now to find equipment for 19 inch racks.Thanks
