A bit of nylon, a bit of metal.

Very interesting strings for a classical guitar. Have a mellow, nylon-like quality when played softly, but when played harder a metallic edge appears that allows them to cut through a mix a bit better. I wouldn't recommend them for classical music (it's not THE classical sound), but otherwise they are perfect.

These strings are utterly, totally, unbelievably BRILLIANT. They are expensive, for a very good reason. The resonance, colour and sheer beauty of the sound they generate puts other classic guitar strings in the shade. And the tone is subtly different from conventional nylon strings. As well as more powerful. And when I plug my electro-acoustic Yamaha into the Fender amplifier it sounds nothing like anything I've ever heard. Mysterious is the only word that springs to mind. Sorry to go on, but I really cannot praise these strings too highly....

Those are special strings that you may love or hate. If you don't mind the high price it is worth taking a risk and try them.

First class, wow and those trebles!

Well what a remarkable development. Trebles that are both super resonant and projecting but are stable within the hour. No need for constant tuning. I love the feel under fingers and they’re fabulous for both shredding with a pick and playing tremolo guitar and other classical guitar works. I use them on a Picado guitar from Cataluña.
The ball end and the silk are tricky tho, I couldn’t get it through the hole on the bottom and top Es and the B string so I just used usual wrap.
I really recommend these stings for greater projection, better feel and way more versatility.
I wonder how thomastik came up with this idea.
