Tung-Sol 6L6GC STR Matched Pair

These tubes replaced the stock Sovtek 6L6 of an Epiphone Blues Custom 30. I didnt notice a difference in sound to be honest but what i seek is durability. I only have them for about 2 weeks so I will edit this review to the future.

It is also important to mention that Thomann delivered them to me securely, carefully packaged and they traveled a bit, so dont be afraid the transportation if you want to buy your tubes online

Personally I'm not convinced that they are worth the significant price difference or that 'matched' pairs really work better than random pairs. If you have a good paying day job and want nothing but the best for your pub band gear than these are the way to go. If you're a struggling musician than don't bother.

I changed the stock power tubes of a Peavey 6505+ 112 combo with the Tung-Sol. They work well, deliver a good punch and are (so far) quite reliable. Definite recommendation.
