Richer tone on cornet and trumpet
Warburton mouthpieces are incredibly versatile, covering a wide range of shapes and sizes. I have been using a 3MC top for both trumpet and cornet, and wanted a richer, deeper sound on my cornet. The 3MD cup is perfect for this without going too far in terms of depth. For swooping between trumpet and cornet (UK Brass Band), the 3MD does the trick for me.
