These are great quality mouthpieces (make sure you also get a backbore). The flexibility to choose your own combination of tops and backbones means that I could get exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with Thomanns service and delivery times (and the 30 day money back guarantee took away any worries that it may not be the right one).

Richer tone on cornet and trumpet

Warburton mouthpieces are incredibly versatile, covering a wide range of shapes and sizes. I have been using a 3MC top for both trumpet and cornet, and wanted a richer, deeper sound on my cornet. The 3MD cup is perfect for this without going too far in terms of depth. For swooping between trumpet and cornet (UK Brass Band), the 3MD does the trick for me.

Funktionierendes Mundstück

Mundstück funktioniert ähnlich wie 1 1/2 C von Bach und hat eine sofort angehende Ansprache. Der Sound ist im Piano sehr genau, im Forte sehr schön strahlend. Verarbeitung tadellos. Ich fühle mich dabei so wohl, dass man sogar als Leadmundstück verwenden kann.
Alles in allem probieren, testen und staunen 5 Sterne.

Das Warburton 3 MD Top Teil ist ein sehr gutes Allround Top Teil. Durch den mittel-tiefen Kessel erzeugt es einen schönen runden Klang für Orchesterwerke, spricht aber auch immer noch gut an. Mit einer engeren Backbore lässt sich aber auch ein strahlender Sound erzeugen, der gut für Bigband und Popmusik geeignet ist.
Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei, was man bei dem Preis der Einzelteile aber auch erwarten muss.
