I bought the CP88 softbag at the same time as my CP88 keyboard. When I put the keyboard into the new bag, I realised there was ZERO allowance made for the pedal. Yes, there is an upper "bag" with its own zipper - but functionally that is only suitable for flatter items, such as cables, music etc. But for a bulky item like a sustaining pedal, it is useless. I am surmising that Yamaha have guessed this might be the situation, as their cushions at either end of the bag are attached via velcro, thus making it easy to remove and allow for space for the pedal - but at the expense of the extra safety for the keyboard - and still a tight fit. This is a pricey case for such a poor design.
