The perfect dark phat hats.

I play everything from Jazz to Metal and these hi-hats sound great in every setting, from soft to loud, the chick is tight, crisp, the open sound is dark and roaring, but doesn't get away from you, due to the cymbals being raw and unlathed. I highly recommend Zultan cymbals. Pro quality B20 bronze at a very nice price. Cheers.

Love it! Very versatile

This hihat is awesome. Well balanced, mellow, medium dry sound. I believe it could be used for all sorts of music. 15" hihats are so much fun to play... and I'm a big fan of the RAW series from Zultan; I have tried out A LOT of cymbals, and always manage to gravitate back to the RAW model (even in a bling test); so this was a no brainer... I play stoner rock / doom metal, and the dark earthy tone sounds great to me (and my band mates); but as I said, they could work for any genre. Also, the RAW cymbals, overall, record wonderfully, with minimum EQing and no harsh top end! Love it!

Positively surprised

I was positively surprised - for this price range it's a really good hi-hat. I've been using it for three years (rehersals and gigs) and it's still going without any cracks. I needed a raw sounding hi-hat for my Meinl's Dark Custom crashes and it worked perfectly.

Great dark sound

I was surprised with how good these sounded, considering the relatively low price. They produce a great dark sound and are very responsive. I use these for a lot of different genres of music
