Zultan 20" Rock Beat China

The Zultan 20" china cymbal is an excellent effects cymbal.Played right side up or inverted,it`s sound would be best described as sparkling.Dark trashiness coupled with just the right amount of white noise combine with cascading overtones and a beautiful decay to produce an emotive and musical sound.I am sure it`s the "made in Istanbul" factor that gives this cymbal it`s edge.I preferred this cymbal over other more expensive and more famous brands.I think one of the strengths of this cymbal is that it hasn`t been over hammered which has resulted in a cleaner "trash" sound than you would normally expect from a china cymbal.I consider this cymbal better than both the Zildjian Oriental range and the Paiste 2002 series.The price is right and combined with the excellent sound quality,the Zultan china deserves close attention from anyone in the market for a china cymbal.
