Solid bridge, but packaging is nightmare...

It's a solid bridge, well made and much better than original Squier Affinity bridge in my opinion.
A bit lower score due to way it is packed. I had to take off every screw and saddle as they were covered with this plastic foil from packaging. I spent significantly more time trying to unpack from plastic foil, than unmounting old bridge and installing this one...never again.

Perfect replacement for a Fender style bass

You want the Fender sound on your jazz or precision bass without spending money on the Fender brand ? This bridge is for you !

Pros:
+ well built
+ sounds as the original
+ much cheaper than a Fender original

Cons:
- not a Fender original if you are repairing/upgrading a Fender bass

Perfect replacement on my Squier bass from 2007 (with a bent bridge !). I also installed it on my home-made 61 style jazz bass. I don't think I will ever buy a Fender again...

Great bridge to upgrade with

I needed it to upgrade a bass I am working with. A quality part and well designed for a vintage bridge. Saddles were well machined. Good weight to it and a fraction of the price of an original Fender part. Overall, I cannot fault this item. It’s a great option if you need a replacement bi rage style bass bridge.

Does the job

I was looking for a reasonably priced replacement for the bridge of my P-bass, and this one is a perfect match.
As some other reviews pointed out, the only issue is the terrible packaging. It took me half an hour before I managed to free the saddle screws and springs from the plastic film they were wrapped in.
Other than that, it does the trick and fits perfectly.
